greetings to my rookies, and full members
I wanted to bring up this combat comparison the idea of using 2 guns
at the same time and using a single gun.
I was at the local arcade a while back playing a light gun shooting game
called johnny nero action hero which is much like area 51 or other
such light gun games, this game gave me the feature of shooting both
guns at the same time if I choose so I started out with one then
using two.
in a real time situation I would not recommend 2 fisting it and
blasting away one while its a psychological boost to looking armed
and dangerous like a cowboy or a matrix fan-boy or girl. a real
shooter will lose accuracy 2 2 guns then the shooter would with a
single gun and regular aim. the other problem is when most people
shoot they use there dominate hand, if a gun is also used in the non
dominate hand you will most of the time focus 2 guns on the same
target which means your non dominate hand will follow your dominate
hand in the action such as shooting. to use 2 guns at the same time
and shoot separate targets accurately requires concentration and skill.
in the military it is rare to see any schooling on 2 fisting
marksmanship. a skill that has gone out of style with the old west
and trick shooting.
for those who have never done this don't even begin to try it in real
time it will end up being a waste of ammo and the end to your life.
another fact is reloading if you have 2 guns in your hands and your
in a combat firing situation think of this how do you plan to reload
if your hands are full. I have watched one movie in which a person used
the 2 fisting style and managed to reload fast and safely in combat
but that person hand a special ammo harness that had many spare clips
on each side. the movie in which I speak on is tomb raider.
so with this being said again if you don't have experience doing the
2 fisted then don't even think of trying it. in a firing combat ammo
you will get an adrenaline rush but if you don't control your actions
and emotions your life will come to an end.
remember if you have a gun in your hands you are not invincible
despite what your hyped up emotions are giving off. eventually the
gun will slick empty and reloading will be in order and if your out
of ammo then your screwed if that was your only weapon that is.
many of us own guns if we maintain control and have enough ammo we
can handle most any situation and come out without getting to messed
up in the process.
There are instances in real-time history of 2 fisted style using
other weapons, like the pirates of old using sword & pistol. In the
pirate era, you only had 1 shot. Today, pistols have way more capacity
depending on which type u use whether it being the 6 shooter or semi-
auto 45. This method can b used in real-time too. However, what
weapon to use in which hand is something to be debated on in practice
& not in a real-time combat zone.
Since ranged weapons are only good as long as they have ample
ammo, then when choosing to pursue the 2 fisted style, you should limit
yourself to only 1 ranged firearm in 1 hand & a melee weapon in the
other. The melee weapon can be either sword or blunt baton. That can b
a baseball bat, a billy club, a lead or steel pipe. Bladed weapons
can be a knife, machete, or sharp wooden stake, whichever works for you.
