Lesson College Survival in case of Zombies
Well since I have been in college it struck me as odd that I haven't
done anything on colleges and zombies together, but today I was
inspired by boredom before math class and thought of this.
Possible Weapons Caches on a Community College Campus
The possibility of being caught in an undead epidemic while at a
college may seem like something out of a zombie movie, for those who
have watched House of the Dead 2.
Where could one find serviceable make shift weapons as well as actual
weapons?
Well the answer to that can be in many places, lets explore the
possibility of first seeking out a projectile firearm. On all college
campus's you can find uniformed security officers. And they keep
themselves at the Campus Security Office: Your average security
office has one to two cars labeled for security, the office has
bolted doors with double panned glass and houses between 6 to 10 armed
security officers. Some like Wakenhut are armed and equipped with a
firearm usually a 40 caliber semi-auto pistol or a revolver depending
on the officers preference usually high powered 45 caliber to 357
magnum, each carrying 2 extra clips or speed loaders. The also carry
a melee weapon called a black jack which is an extendable night
stick/baton. As most of us are already aware most semi-auto pistols
hold 13 to 15 rounds per clip while the revolver holds 6 shots.
While conventional weapons are nice there maybe a chance that either
they maybe missing or even unavailable so one must make use of
improvised weapons.
I was looking through my summer course schedule for Durham Tech and I
found several places on campus that a smart and resourceful hunter or
slayer could take advantage of and cannibalize to make improvised
weapons.
Classes and room number with corresponding building as follows:
Automotive Climate Control, Engine Performance, Manual Transmissions -
Room 453, Newton Industries and Engineering Technical Center
General Chemistry Room 261 and 262 Collins Building
Technical Drafting Room 425 Newton Industries and Engineering
Technical Center
Wrought Orthodontic Appliances, Advanced Crown and Bridge Room 233
Collins Building
Industrial Wiring, Intro to PLC, Instrumentation, Electrical
Maintenance Room 413 and 415 Newton Industries and Engineering
Technical Center
Linear Intergrated Circuits Applications, Troubleshooting Room 426
and 437 Newton Industries and Engineering Technical Center
Intro to Basic Plumbing Room 2025 Building 807 Bacon Street
With a map of the college campus a properly motivated hunter or
slayer or even a group of properly motivated people could turn tools
of learning into weapons of battle, all that is needed is the right
situation. A classic example of such properly motivated individuals
where the Japanese during the Feudal Era when the imperial government
banned citizens from owning weapons like swords, they turned there
farm tools into there weapons and as we now know that's farm tools
became the founding for martial arts weapons today.
Always bare in mind that not every school has everything at your
finger tips so you will have to go and search the campus (safely that
is) When in doubt find a working car or truck and explore the campus
but stay mobile if you come across weapons make sure you know how to
use them, as lack of common sense has killed many a man and injured
several. If something is to big and bulky to carry and use in a fight
don't use it its just that simple.
